ETHIOPIA Nyala Nensebo Coffee (Light Roast)
Coffees with an interesting, refreshing taste and a light "tea" character are a speciality of the Oromia region of Ethiopia. The infusion that you receive from the seeds of our ETHIOPIA Nyala Nensebo will captivate you from the first moment with the aroma of Darjeeling and distinct notes of lemon and orange. In addition, you will notice (of course we are talking about Ethiopia) a pleasant aroma of jasmine. Ethiopian coffee could not be more distinctive. See for yourself with your own palate.

The beans we roasted are an heirloom variety grown at an altitude of 1,900 metres. They were collected by local farmers working on small farms near the Refisa washing station, owned by the Addis Ababa-based family business Romina PLC, which has a total of 12 washing stations in Ethiopia in the Sidama, Yirgacheffe and Wallaga regions. The high altitude of the crops, the abundance of sunshine and the amazing craftsmanship of the local farmers all contribute to the unique profile of the cup.
Ripe cherries are processed at the Rafisa mill, where they are carefully sorted and placed in water channels to eliminate defective fruit. The cherries are crushed and then fermented in water for 36-48 hours, depending on environmental conditions. The coffee is then thoroughly washed in filter channels with clean water and then dried in the sun on "African beds" for 12 - 15 days until the optimum moisture content is reached. During the day, the beans are rotated periodically to ensure even drying.
