The judges said of our Spiced Pumpkin Pie, A golden infusion, rich and spicy on the nose- promising and enticing. We love the spice on the nose and this arrives on the palate quickly with a hit of warmth and a gorgeous blend of vanilla, spice, citrus and heat. A rounded mouthful of warming sweetness. Cloves and cinnamon, with hints of baked apples. Adventurous in flavour this wonderful herbal infusion takes you in an unexpected direction. Very moreish. 2* 2019 One worth trying yourself this Autumn.
INGREDIENTS: Apple pieces, rosehip peels, ginger, grapes, cinnamon, pumpkin pieces (5%), coriander seeds, flavour, cloves, cardamom fruit, turmeric powder, black pepper, cardamom husk, sunflower petals.
TO INFUSE: Brew 1 teaspoon (2.5g) per 200ml water. Or 1 Suki scoop per stump teapot. Infuse in freshly boiled water (98°C) for 6-8 minutes.
Store in a dry cool place. Once opened, store in a sealed airtight container and consume within 3 months.
