Terms and Conditions for Training Services – Barista Basic, Alternative Brewing Basic

1. Information about the Service Provider

The owner and administrator of the online store javacoffee.pl, available at www.javacoffee.pl, is Java Coffee Company sp. z o.o., with its registered office in Warsaw, ul. Palisadowa 20/22, 01-940 Warsaw, entered into the Register of Entrepreneurs of the National Court Register maintained by the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw, 12th Commercial Division of the National Court Register, under number KRS 0000069052, VAT ID (NIP) 5213214532, REGON 017395488, share capital: PLN 101,500.00 (hereinafter referred to as the “Service Provider” or the “Seller”).

2. Subject and Scope of the Terms and Conditions

  1. These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter: the “Terms”) define the rules for the provision by the Service Provider of training services under the names “Barista Basic” and “Alternatives Basic” (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Training”) via the online store, as well as the rights and obligations of the parties to the agreement concluded in this respect.
  2. Before purchasing the Service, the User is obliged to familiarize themselves with the content of the Terms and accept them.
  3. The Service Provider ensures the possibility to download, save, and print the Terms.

3. Characteristics of the Training Service

The Training is an educational service provided in the form of group classes. The purpose of the training is to provide participants with basic knowledge and skills related to the work of a barista.

  • Number of participants: maximum of 6 people
  • Estimated duration of the training: [insert duration, e.g. 3 hours]
  • Each participant receives a certificate of participation and a coffee gift.

3a. Language of the Training

The default language of the Training is Polish.
Training in English is possible upon individual arrangements with the Service Provider, subject to prior notification of such a request and confirmation of the trainer’s availability.

3b. Training Program

The Training Program is available on the Service Provider’s website in the description of the relevant Training and constitutes an integral part of the offer. The Service Provider reserves the right to introduce minor changes to the Training Program resulting from organizational or substantive needs, provided that such changes do not affect the overall scope and objective of the Training.

3c. Training Date

The Participant may select a specific training date from the dates available on the Organizer’s website or choose the option “Open date — to be agreed with the trainer”.

If a specific date is selected, the Training will be carried out on the chosen date and time.

If the “Open date — to be agreed with the trainer” option is selected, the Participant will be assigned to one of the currently available training groups, and the training date will be agreed upon with the Trainer, subject to availability.

4. Contract Conclusion and Payment

  • The contract for the provision of the training service is concluded by purchasing the Training via the online store javacoffee.pl.
  • Seat reservation becomes binding upon crediting the payment to the Service Provider’s account. The number of places is limited, and participation is determined by the order of completed and paid registrations.

5. Date Changes and Cancellation of Participation

  • The Participant has the right to cancel participation in the Training no later than 48 hours before the scheduled start time. In such a case, a refund or transfer of participation to another date is possible.
  • If cancellation is reported later than 48 hours before the Training date, no refund shall be granted.
  • The Service Provider reserves the right to change the Training date for reasons beyond its control (e.g. trainer’s illness, force majeure events). In such a case, the Participant may attend another agreed date or receive a full refund.

5a. Minimum Number of Participants and Training Date Change

  • The Training will be conducted provided that the minimum required number of participants, i.e. at least 3 persons, is reached.
  • The number of participants in one group is limited to a maximum of 5 people.
  • If the minimum number of registrations is not reached, the Service Provider may propose an alternative Training date.
  • The new date is selected from the options proposed by the Service Provider and requires the Participant’s acceptance.
  • If none of the proposed dates is accepted, the Participant is entitled to a full refund of the Training fee.

6. Right of Withdrawal

  • Pursuant to Article 38(12) of the Act of 30 May 2014 on Consumer Rights, the right to withdraw from a distance contract does not apply to services related to events scheduled for a specific date or time.

7. Personal Data Protection

  • The Participant’s personal data provided during the registration process are processed by the Service Provider solely for purposes related to the performance of the contract and in accordance with applicable data protection regulations and the Privacy Policy available on the Service Provider’s website.

8. Final Provisions

  • In matters not regulated by these Terms, the relevant provisions of Polish law shall apply, in particular the Civil Code and the Act on Consumer Rights.
  • These Terms enter into force on the date of publication on the Service Provider’s website.
