  • PerfectTed — Europe's Best-Selling Matcha Brand

PerfectTed is a British ceremonial grade matcha brand, founded in 2021 for a straightforward reason: coffee does not work for everyone. Marisa Poster, co-founder of the brand, was looking for a source of energy that felt different — steadier, more even, without the spikes and crashes. She found it in matcha. PerfectTed followed.

In 2023 the brand appeared on the British Dragons' Den and received investment offers from all five investors. Today PerfectTed is stocked in over 22,000 points of sale worldwide, holds a Great Taste Award, and is Europe's best-selling matcha. In Poland, it is available exclusively through JAVA Coffee Roasters.

  • Ceremonial Grade — What Sets It Apart

Ceremonial matcha comes from the first spring harvest. The leaves are shade-grown before picking — a process that raises chlorophyll and L-theanine content — then hand-harvested and stone-ground. The result is an intense green colour, a full flavour without sharp bitterness, and a higher L-theanine content than other matcha grades.

L-theanine combined with caffeine works differently from caffeine alone. It slows absorption, softens the side effects, and extends focus over time. That is why ceremonial grade matcha is the choice for people who find espresso too harsh, or those looking for an afternoon alternative that does not bring another energy spike.

PerfectTed Ceremonial Matcha is available in two formats:

    • 100 g — for home use and café menu testing.
    • 250 g — the lowest cost-per-serving among ceremonial matchas in the JAVA Coffee range; the format for venues that take matcha seriously.
  • Hojicha — A Different Category, the Same Quality

Hojicha is green tea roasted at high temperature. The roasting process reduces caffeine and catechin content, giving the drink a warm, lightly nutty flavour profile without the bitterness typical of green tea. It works well as an evening alternative to coffee and as a base for warm milk drinks.

PerfectTed Hojicha is available in a 100 g format — non-GMO, no additives.

  • Electric Matcha Whisk — Matcha Done Properly

Good matcha needs aeration. The PerfectTed electric whisk produces a smooth, even emulsion in a matter of seconds — no traditional bamboo chasen, no technique to practise. It works equally well with ceremonial matcha and with hojicha. Your daily ritual, with no barrier to entry.
