Do zobaczenia ☺️
Kawa jest idealna pod dripa i zapewnia ciekawy smak. Kawa jest świetnej jakości i proces parzenia przebiega idealnie. Oby więcej takich!
Najlepsza kawa do kawiarki.

Dark Roast Coffee
-
Dark roast coffee is often used to prepare the popular espresso. These are very characteristic beans that will certainly interest all those who like strong and expressive coffee. In our shop, we have prepared a wide range of the highest quality products of this type from different corners of the world.

Dark roast coffee with a strong flavor
Dark roasted coffee is coffee whose beans are roasted not only at a very high temperature, but also for a sufficiently long time. As a result, such beans will be dark brown. What is very important, the whole procedure clearly affects the resulting taste of the infusion itself.
-
Aroma
This method of roasting the beans makes the drink more bitter, sometimes slightly chocolatey aftertaste after brewing. Above all, extending this process means that it is difficult to detect the fruity and floral aftertaste of the coffee in the brew prepared later, because it gives way to chocolate notes or the aroma of dried fruit. Depending on the specific type, there may also be notes of nuts or caramel. Roasting the beans so strongly gives them depth and a strong flavour, which is why they are most often used for espresso. Within this method of roasting beans, there is often a more precise division of the degree of roasting, which is referred to by names such as: Italian Roast, French Roast, Spanish Roast, Continental and New Orleans.
-
Does this translate into caffeine intake?
The strong, bitter taste of coffee prepared from such beans often gives the false impression that such a drink definitely has a much higher concentration of caffeine. Meanwhile, it turns out to be the opposite, because in the process of roasting the beans, caffeine evaporates. The longer such a procedure lasts, the lower the caffeine level. Thus, it turns out that when it comes to the content of this compound itself, there will be much more of it in coffees prepared from lightly roasted beans, and less in the case of those roasted dark.

Dark roast coffee available in our store
Dark roasted coffee is one of the most popular choices, so we have made sure to offer a wide variety of such products in our store. Thanks to this, you can try different variants and see which one is best for you. It is also worth paying a lot of attention to how to prepare the best brew. In the JAVA Coffee offer, we have prepared several proposals in this category. Each product is characterized by the fact that these are the highest quality Arabica beans freshly roasted by us. You will find dark coffees from Honduras, Papua New Guinea, Brazil, Colombia, Guatemala and Tanzania, among others. For coffee lovers who want to limit their daily dose of caffeine, we have even included the decaf variant for espresso, i.e. beans that have been decaffeinated.

How to brew it?
The long roasting process of the beans significantly increases the level of bitterness in their taste. Therefore, it is best to brew the already ground beans for a rather short time. Dark roast versions are therefore usually prepared especially for automatic coffee machines. In addition, some of them can be a good choice for brewing in a moka pot.
