What makes Cerrado 003 from Brazil stand out

Cerrado Mineiro is one of Brazil's most recognised coffee regions, located in the state of Minas Gerais. Fertile soils — known locally as "terra roxa", or red earth — combined with a reliable climate and altitudes between 1,100 and 1,350 metres above sea level create conditions well suited to growing Arabica with a full, mature profile. The flat terrain allows for mechanical harvesting, which contributes to consistent quality across lots.

After delivery to the mill, the cherries are cleaned and dried whole on concrete patios — a natural process that concentrates sweetness and deepens the fruit character of the beans. Once the correct moisture level is reached, the cherries are machine-hulled and cleaned before being packed for export. The Cerrado cooperative brings together producers from across the region and maintains quality standards at every stage, from cultivation through to processing.
