Moreover, only beans without defects and without quakers, i.e., under-ripe beans, deserve the title of highest quality. By choosing premium coffee, you can be sure it does not come from mass plantations, as such beans simply would not meet these criteria.

Generally, coffee trees from which beans for premium coffee are harvested should come from plantations grown in sustainable development practices. Most often, these are crops located in high-altitude areas where plants can be cultivated in favorable natural climatic conditions. For our coffee, these are plantations located in Ethiopia, Guatemala, Brazil, India, Costa Rica, Colombia, New Guinea, and Honduras. The exact location of bean collection is significant as it ensures the quality of the coffee cherries and the procedure they undergo from hand-picking to roasting. So, if you buy a product from a store that does not provide you with all the essential information about the beans, you might have justified concerns about its "authenticity."
