Specialty Coffee Tanzania Malolo
Coffee from Tanzania can be truly surprising — especially when it comes from a place like Malolo, a small cooperative in the Songwe region in the country’s southwest. This area has remarkable potential: 1550–1700 m a.s.l., sandy-clay soils, a diverse climate, and a rich farming tradition. Here, in the shade of banana and acacia trees, Arabica grows with a distinct character — even slight processing changes can give it an entirely new dimension.

About the Farm
Behind this coffee stands the Malolo Agricultural Cooperative — an organization that supports smallholder farmers not only in production, but also through education, sustainable agriculture, and access to better seedlings and tools. Shared effort and attention to detail have created a coffee with more than one face — delicate and creamy, yet bright and lively, with dried-fruit notes.

Taste
This coffee offers lively acidity and a deep, multi-layered flavor profile. The washed process enhances clarity and transparency, allowing each note to shine on its own while forming a harmonious whole. It’s not a background coffee — it demands attention and rewards it with complexity that surprises with every sip. Excellent as espresso and in milk drinks, revealing a new facet each time.
Up front you’ll find black tea and sage — dry, herbal, slightly tannic, adding elegance and depth. The middle brings smooth, balanced chocolate, a solid base for the rest of the flavors. It all finishes with juicy orange — citrusy and refreshing, with a lively yet pleasant acidity that adds freshness and energy. A complex, harmonious composition for those who seek more than caffeine.
