Farm and Process Information
This coffee comes from northern Sumatra, in the Gayo Mandheling region. It is grown by farmers organized in the Buana Mandiri Cooperative, founded by local leader and exporter Mr. Amin. His vision was to create a community based on knowledge-sharing and collective growth – today over 1,300 farmers cultivate coffee here with a spirit of cooperation and an organic approach to the environment.

Indonesian landscape with coffee plantations
Coffee cherries of the Arabica Timtim variety grow at around 1375 m.a.s.l., shaded by tropical vegetation on volcanic soils rich in minerals. Handpicked and processed using the semi-washed method – a partially wet process that allows better control of fermentation and a clearer flavor structure. Unlike the typical Sumatran “wet hulled” method, this process gives the coffee greater cleanliness and precision.

This espresso is for those who enjoy bold character and aren’t afraid of spicier notes. Perfect on its own, but also intriguing with milk – adding a deeper, spiced-chocolate profile.
