Decaf de Caña – Gentle and Natural
This coffee was decaffeinated using the EA Decaf method, also known as the “sugar cane process.” It’s a natural and delicate technique in which the key role is played by ethyl acetate – a compound derived from sugarcane. It acts as a natural solvent that gently binds and removes caffeine from the beans. Before that, the beans are lightly steamed to open their structure, and after the process, steamed again to remove all traces of ethyl acetate. Thanks to this, the coffee retains its full aroma, sweetness, and complex flavor profile – with no compromise in quality.

How to brew coffee using the V60 method
- Dose: 18–19 g
- Grinding: 24–27 clicks (Comandante)
- Water: 300 g, 93–98°C
- Brewing time: approx. 3:00 min
1. Pour hot water over the filter
2. Add coffee, start the timer
3. Add 60 g of water, stir, wait 30 seconds
4. Add water every 30 seconds: 120 g, 180 g, 240 g, 300 g.
5. The whole process should be completed in approx. 3 minutes
