How does a Polish specialty coffee roastery differ from a freshly roasted coffee roastery?

Polish specialty coffee roasteries are not the same as roasteries that offer freshly roasted coffee. In the first case, the product sold is premium quality coffee, which makes up a small percentage of all beans available on the market. In the second case, freshly roasted coffee can also include lower-grade coffee, which still has its own benefits. At JAVA Coffee, you can only buy premium segment coffee. This is 100% Arabica, meeting specific quality standards. Every detail matters, from the place and conditions of cultivation, the method and time of harvest, to the roasting process. Contact us if you want to learn more about a specific product from our assortment. We also offer a wide selection of other products, such as teas, brewing accessories, and plant-based drinks.

Characteristics of Premium Beans

Specialty coffee is a product that has received the highest ratings (at least 85/100) from Q-Graders. Experts test both the appearance of the beans and their aromatic qualities before and after brewing. The taste is also evaluated to describe the sensory profile, like chocolate, nutty, floral, sweet, or fruity. Specialty coffee is grown traditionally on high-altitude plantations, and the beans are hand-picked to ensure they are mature and defect-free. The coffee’s provenance is critical—beans come directly from farmers or trusted intermediaries, often supporting small family farms using traditional cultivation methods.

Freshly Roasted Beans

Specialty coffee can also be freshly roasted, but not all freshly roasted coffee is specialty coffee. Fresh roasting makes coffee more aromatic. However, it's important to distinguish roasteries using high-quality beans from those roasting various beans, including Arabica and Robusta blends. At our roastery, you can get 100% Arabica, always freshly roasted—up to 7 days before delivery, either in whole beans or ground, according to your preference.

What Makes a Polish Specialty Coffee Roastery Stand Out?

A Polish specialty coffee roastery offers a variety of coffees from different continents, with diverse flavor profiles and roast levels. Our selection includes varieties from America, Asia, and Africa, primarily medium and light roasts, sometimes dark (for espresso machines).

Transparency

Selling premium-quality coffee requires transparency, as it’s generally more expensive. When you buy our product, you know exactly what you're paying for. Each product is thoroughly described, so you can easily learn where the beans come from, how they were processed, and how they were harvested. We don’t hide any information, ensuring you’re getting the highest-quality coffee, freshly roasted.
