Huila – The Pearl of Colombian Coffee Production

Huila, located in southwestern Colombia, sits between the central and eastern ranges of the Andes. Its central part is known as the Magdalena Valley. The region's diverse elevations make Huila one of the most unique and desirable areas for coffee production in the country.

Terroir, climate, and harvest cycles greatly influence the quality of the coffee produced here. While Huila accounts for nearly 20% of Colombia’s coffee production, an impressive 80% of the region’s producers work on farms smaller than three hectares.
