Nowadays, no one questions the existence of the climate crisis. There are many ways to combat and coexist with it, and most scientists and specialists studying climate change agree that the most important thing is to take all possible steps within our daily capabilities. These are steps that each of us can take without great sacrifices and with little compromise. One such step is using reusable cups instead of disposable ones when ordering your favorite coffee or tea.
This trend has been visible on the streets of European and Polish cities for many years. Cafes are actively participating in promoting LESS WASTE by offering discounts to customers who bring their own cup. Just look at the statistics to understand the phenomenon of this movement. 16 billion paper cups are produced from 6.5 million trees—every year. The energy used to produce these cups could power 54,000 homes.
That's why we introduced reusable KINTO cups to our offer. Founded in 1972, KINTO started with a passion for creating its own products that bring comfort and color to everyday life. Since 2010, these products have been exported directly from Japan to the rest of the world.
KINTO combines functionality, sustainability, and visual aesthetics. The Travel Tumbler, available in various colors in our store, is designed for people who value the taste of coffee or tea for a long time. Thanks to its vacuum insulation, the tumbler retains heat (or cold) very well, and the taste and aroma of the brew are preserved for a long time, thanks to the 18-8 stainless steel and electro-polished interior.
We also recommend our reusable takeaway cups, which are very lightweight and made from biodegradable bamboo fiber and non-GMO corn starch. The lid (non-drip) and sleeve are made of matte, tasteless food-grade silicone for hot beverages, and the cup along with the lid and sleeve is dishwasher safe.
The LESS WASTE idea doesn't end with reusable cups.
JAVA supports and promotes a conscious and eco-friendly lifestyle. This extends from how we operate daily in the roastery to the moment when we brew our favorite coffee at home or outdoors.
For coffee storage, we have our containers, which we gladly refill with fresh beans.
You can also pick them up with our GOOD COFFEE IS A HUMAN RIGHT® bag, which is also perfect for vacations 😉
In our production process, we have nearly eliminated plastic bubble wrap for securing shipments, and the cardboard boxes we use to ship products to cafes or pop-ups have been partially replaced by reusable containers, reducing unnecessary waste to a minimum.
