Suki Tea Darjeeling – Organic Loose-Leaf Black Tea
Floral, fresh and muscatel
Suki Tea Darjeeling is an elegant black tea grown high in India’s Darjeeling region, in the foothills of the Himalayas. Celebrated for its light character, floral aroma and distinctive muscatel notes, it has earned its reputation as the “Champagne of teas”.
The cool mountain air, frequent mist and slower growth of the tea bushes help the leaves develop their complex aroma. Once brewed, they produce a light amber infusion with a delicate flavour that is distinctly different from robust breakfast blends.
Ingredients: 100% organic Indian Darjeeling loose-leaf black tea.
This product naturally contains caffeine.

What does Darjeeling tea taste like?
The infusion is light, fresh and aromatic. Delicate floral notes are complemented by subtle fruit sweetness and the distinctive muscatel character associated with ripe Muscat grapes.
A gentle, elegant astringency and a long, slightly dry finish complete the cup. Darjeeling is best enjoyed without milk, allowing its complex flavour and aroma to shine.
Tea from the Himalayan foothills
Darjeeling is one of the world’s most celebrated tea-growing regions. Its gardens are situated on steep mountain slopes, with some plantations reaching approximately 1,800 metres above sea level.
The unique combination of altitude, temperature, sunlight and humidity gives teas from this region their recognisable fresh, floral and muscatel character.
What pairs well with Darjeeling?
This light black tea is perfect for a peaceful afternoon and pairs beautifully with delicate desserts, shortbread, fresh fruit and lightly flavoured bakes. It can also be enjoyed at breakfast if you prefer a more refined alternative to a robust breakfast blend.
How to brew Darjeeling tea
- Amount: approximately 3 g of tea per 250 ml of water or one Suki Tea scoop per teapot
- Water temperature: 90–95°C
- Brewing time: 3–5 minutes
A shorter brewing time will highlight the tea’s lighter floral and fruity notes. A longer infusion will add intensity and emphasise its dry character. Avoid pouring vigorously boiling water over the leaves, as this may overpower their delicate flavour.
A refined classic for curious tea drinkers
Suki Tea Darjeeling is ideal for anyone looking for freshness, elegance and a more complex aroma in their black tea. Brew it slowly and discover why Darjeeling holds such a special place in the world of tea.
Storage: once opened, keep the tea in a tightly sealed container, away from moisture, light and strong odours. For the best flavour and aroma, use within three months of opening.
