Costa Rica Cerro Los Vindas is a juicy, pleasant anaerobic coffee. It will captivate you with its bold flavor—an explosion of fruity notes is guaranteed. We’ve captured the essence of summer in the sensory profile—sweet plums and strawberries combined with juicy, slightly acidic oranges will make your taste buds dance. For balance, there’s a touch of dark cocoa. The intense flavor and aroma of our roast will not go unnoticed. A light and aromatic Chemex? A concentrated Aeropress? Or perhaps a refreshing cold brew? There are no wrong answers here. Prepare the beans in your favorite way and indulge in a sensory feast.
Information about the farm and process
The history of Cerro Los Vindas starts in an unusual way. In 1967, three brothers—Eduardo, Leonel, and Gerardo Vindas—purchased their first hectares of land from a dairy cattle farmer and continued to produce milk and cheese, supplying around 1,500 residents from the nearby town of Palmichal. After two years of working in this sector, the Vindas brothers decided to change the focus of their farm. This was the beginning of their coffee journey. They planted their first coffee seedlings on the vast slopes of the Tacuatorí mountains, where no one had ever dared to cultivate before. However, the Vindas brothers were convinced that the extremely fertile volcanic soil, combined with a dry oceanic climate, provided an ideal environment for growing Caturra and Catuai varieties. Additionally, by planting trees on the mountain slopes, they aimed to help reduce soil erosion.
As we can see, the Vindas brothers' idea was a great success. Today, over 50 years after planting their first coffee trees, Cerro Los Vindas enjoys a reputation for producing exceptional coffees that have fans worldwide. This time, these extraordinary mountain-grown beans have made their way to our roasters. The result? Mesmerizing. Will you try?

The coffee is great. It is very important to me that the cofffe has been freshly roasted. Other shops sell coffee that was roasted nearly 3 months ago and still ask top money. The coffee is nicely balanced and very much too my liking. I use a compaq grinder with la pavoni pro espresso machine.
I had some trouble with the courier service, after contact with the support guys from Java coffee we quickly resolved it, they sent another package via a different courier.
Fresh coffee and customer support are the two things that pull me confidentially over the line to order coffee here next time.

Jestem bardzo zadowolona z odbytego szkolenia. Niezwykle przyjemny i wartościowy czas. Michał prowadzący szkolenie, przekazywał wiedzę w teorii i w praktyce w sposób dostosowany do moich potrzeb. Edukował, słuchał, gdy w międzyczasie przelewały się litry pysznej kawy
Znakomita kawa, parzona przeze mnie w ekspresie przelewowym spełniła wszelkie oczekiwania. Warta swojej ceny
Kawa speciality Brazylia Cerrado 003
Fantastyczne doznania smakowe i zapachowe.
