Coffee for AeroPress is an excellent choice for those who use this alternative brewing method. A brew prepared with an AeroPress has a more intense flavor compared to pour-over methods. Thanks to the use of a proper filter, the coffee is free from grounds, and the device itself can be cleaned in seconds. AeroPress allows you to achieve a wide range of sensory results, depending, among other things, on the grind size.

What is coffee for AeroPress and why is it worth it?
Coffee for AeroPress allows you to prepare a brew using a device that resembles a large syringe and is typically made of lightweight and durable polycarbonate. Beans suitable for this brewing method can be found in the online store of our roastery, JAVA Coffee.
AeroPress is an exceptionally versatile device that allows you to prepare various types of coffee. Freshly ground beans work best, ensuring a strong aroma and expressive flavor. The best sensory qualities are achieved about a week after roasting, when the coffee is ground just before brewing.

Device construction
AeroPress is a compact and user-friendly device that allows you to quickly prepare aromatic coffee at home. Thanks to the use of polycarbonate, it is lightweight and resistant to damage. It is also completely safe for food contact. The device consists of several basic elements, such as a plunger, chamber, and a filter cap with a filter. In terms of design and operation, it resembles a syringe.
Ground coffee is poured with water and then pressed through a filter under slight pressure, which eliminates grounds and sediment. The original AeroPress set also includes useful accessories such as a scoop, filters, funnel, and stirrer.

How it works
The operation of this device is relatively simple. Add a measured amount of coffee, then pour in about 50 ml of water. After 30 seconds, add the remaining water. The coffee can be pressed into a vessel after 60–120 seconds. Stirring the brew enhances its intensity and strength. This method is very easy, and the AeroPress itself takes up very little space. You can easily take it on the go and enjoy your favorite coffee anywhere. Typically, it is recommended to use 16–22 g of coffee per 250–270 ml of water. For different quantities, follow the ratio: 6 g of coffee per 100 ml of water.
In our store, in addition to properly ground beans, you will also find many accessories useful for brewing, such as filters, grinders, moka pots, and Kinto thermoses.

What coffee is best for AeroPress?
The best coffee for AeroPress is one that meets the highest quality standards. In this regard, we recommend our light roast 100% Arabica coffees from the specialty segment. They offer rich flavor profiles, largely due to their bright acidity and distinctive floral and fruity aromas. It’s worth experimenting with different beans, grind sizes, and brewing temperatures to create unique sensory experiences and better understand your own taste preferences.

Coffee species
For AeroPress, we especially recommend high-quality, light-roasted specialty Arabica beans. In our roastery, we offer only 100% Arabica beans of fine or specialty grade, which undergo rigorous testing and receive high scores in professional evaluations. We also offer high-quality teas and plant-based drinks, which make great additions to coffee. You can also try cascara concentrate or Bacanha syrups.

Origin of the beans
When choosing coffee, it’s also worth paying attention to the origin of the beans. African coffees stand out with their refreshing acidity and citrus notes. Beans from South and Central America are also excellent for AeroPress, offering slightly nutty and cocoa-like flavors. You can also brew coffees with heavier, more intense, and earthy notes — in this case, we recommend beans from Asia.
